COMMUNITY LIBRARY

So many children in Uganda grow up without books and access to reading materials. Many school teachers in our community teach on different subjects like reading, mathematics, science, social studies without a single book to use as a resource or refer to. By providing a library resource to the community we encourage literacy. A reading culture fosters imagination, critical thinking skills and creativity.

Teachers from different schools have also been given an opportunity to access reading materials. Parents who are unable to buy books for their kids can now borrow books from the library. Others bring their children and read to them from the library. Educational development of individuals is being enhanced. Lives are being changed.
